Snow, Extreme Cold to Blast Millburn-Short Hills

A winter storm warning has been issued for Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday with as much as 10 inches of snow possible.

Nearly a foot of snow and frigid temperatures are headed to New Jersey.

A winter storm warning has been issued for all of North Jersey with as much as 10 inches of snow possible by Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning is in effect from noon Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday with snow starting Tuesday morning and intensifying in the afternoon and evening hours, the NWS said.

The storm will bring more extreme cold weather with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour, making it feel as low as 10-below zero during the overnight hours Tuesday, the NWS said.

Temperatures are not expected to get out of the teens on Tuesday and Wednesday with lows in the single digits before slowly warming up to the low 20s by the end of the week.
