The Paper Mill Playhouse is hosting children auditions for its next production, "The Sound of Music", on Saturday.
Audition sign up start the theater’s lobby on a first-come, first-served basis onwith a line beginning at 8 a.m.
The playhouse looking for girls ages 6-16 and boys who look ages 12-16. Children and their guardian should join the line in front of the theater and enter through the front doors of the theater only.
Sign up for ages 6 to 11 begin at 9 a.m. and sign up for ages 12 to 16 begin at 12 p.m. Auditions are non-union.
“The last time Paper Mill Playhouse held an open-call audition for children in The Sound of Music, we discovered a talented young man by the name of Nick Jonas,” Paper Mill Playhouse’s Producing Artistic Director, Mark S. Hoebee, said in a press release.
