aper Mill Playhouse seeks boys (or girls who can play boys) who look ages 10 to 14-years-old to play orphans in the production’s opening number and for the role of “Oliver”.
Audition signup will take place in the theater’s lobby on a first-come, first-served basis on Saturday, Sept. 7, beginning at 9 a.m. Children and their guardian should join the line in front of the theater (22 Brookside Drive, Millburn, NJ) and enter through the front doors of the theater only. “Students who have appeared on the Paper Mill Playhouse stage have gone on to have major careers on stage, in movies and on television,” said Mark S. Hoebee, Paper Mill Playhouse’s Producing Artistic Director. “This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to be a part of a professional production and perform on the legendary Paper Mill stage.”
