Millburn High Gets An 'A' In Average SAT Scores
Inside Jersey report grades state's high schools.
Millburn High School has been named one of top performing schools in the state on the SATs, according to a report released Monday by Inside Jersey.
The annual assessment was done differently this year, according to the publication. Rather than rating schools based on a single year's scores, results were compared over a four-year period.
The local high school was given an A.
According to the report, Millburn High School averaged 1857 in SAT scores with a 3.2 percent increase over the last four years.
SAT scores were also weighted to come up with the grades. Schools which received As and Bs had higher than average test scores.
Other schools in Essex County scoring an "A", include Glen Ridge, Verona and Caldwell.
