Job-Finding Website Hosts LinkedIn Workshop For College Students, Recent Grads

Participants will learn how to navigate LinkedIn, boost their network and impress recruiters.

Recent college graduates just entering the professional workforce may struggle finding their ground, which is why they may need a little backup.

That's why Sharon Cohen and her business partner Debra Horowitz launched Career Quarterback that provides support to college students and recent grads looking to get their first internship or job in their fields.

Cohen and Horowitz are hosting a LinkedIn workshop at Rock 'n' Joe located at 63 Main St. #A next Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The workshop will provide students a hands-on opportunity to learn how to navigating the site, building their profiles, developing their network and more.

Space is limited to 10 people at $25 to attend. To register, send an email to  info@careerquarterback.com.

Attendees are asked to have a LinkedIn profile prior to coming to the event and to bring their laptops to the seminar.
