"I'm delighted to see how many Township restaurants have embraced a concept that has had great success both in major cities and other suburban communities," John Buchholz, president of Downtown Millburn, said in a press release. "The week leading up to Memorial Day always signals the unofficial start of summer, and our first-ever Millburn-Short Hills Restaurant Week is a great way to mark the transition to outdoor dining, summer shopping and enjoying all the Township has to offer."

Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce President Ralph Tarnofsky siad in a press release the Restaurant Week effort represents "the best of what our business community can do together. As Downtown Millburn and the Chamber of Commerce continue to develop the kinds of projects that encourage business growth, we can anticipate more Coalition ventures like this one."
