Short Hills resident was honored last week at the 26th Annual Valor Awards Dinner last week for his for his 32 years of leadership, passion and exceptional commitment to the Saint Barnabas Medical Center Burn Foundation.
Under recently retired Burn Center Medical Director, E. Hani Mansour the center evolved into a nationally renowned burn care facility that ranks among the top ten burn centers in the United States.
Dr. Mansour is highly regarded in the burn community for his experience and expertise. He pioneered burn disaster planning and set the standard for burn education. For this dedication to burn prevention, Dr. Mansour received well-deserved recognition from many EMS and firefighting organizations. As a strong advocate of burn education, Dr. Mansour lent his full support to the Burn Foundation’s community education programs.
Above all, Dr. Mansour will be remembered for the extraordinary dedication he showed every patient and family. Patients benefited from Dr. Mansour’s wealth of compassion, encouragement, and medical expertise at a time when it was needed most. Dr. Mansour has truly left his mark on Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the thousands of families challenged by burn injuries.
