Industry Leader Named to March of Dimes New Jersey State Board

Industry leader Ada Melendez, Vice President and Director of Community Development, Business Banking at Investors Bank (Short Hills, NJ), has been named to  the March of Dimes New Jersey  Board of Directors. March of Dimes board members, who serve as volunteers, oversee the business of the chapter and implementation of the March of Dimes strategic plan for the success of its mission.  They serve 2-year terms. She is part of a distinguished group of more than 15 directors for the organization that recently celebrated its 75th anniversary.

Ada Melendez joined the Business Banking group at Investors Bank in 2008.  She is responsible for acquiring, retaining, and growing business banking relationships primarily with Not-For-Profit (NFP) organizations.  Ada is also a trustee of the Bank’s Charitable Foundation, where she provides invaluable insight on the many NFP organizations seeking grant support. 

Ada brings over 30 years of experience working in the public, government and private sectors.  Her professional background includes positions as a Compliance Regulator for the Department of the Treasury, Federal Government; VP and Community Development Officer at a large regional bank, and an Office Manager at a NY-based NFP organization.
