Look to the Night Sky for Rocket Launch
NASA launch from Virginia spaceport may be visible in New Jersey tonight.
The planned launch of NASA military satellite tonight (Wednesday) may create a spectacular sight for skywatchers in New Jersey, according to NASA. The launch is now expected to go at 10:05 p.m.
U.S. Air Force's Minotaur 1 rocket was scheduled to blast off Tuesday night from a Virginia spaceport, but bad weather pushed the launch back to Wednesday between 8:28 p.m. and 11:28 p.m.
The launch will be webcast and NASA plans to send out countdown updates via Twitter.
