The British will invade Taylor Park on Sunday. Or at least a tribute to the British Invasion era music will be there.
The Robert Murdock Band will bring its tribute to the Beatles-era of music in the next edition of the Summer Concert Series. The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Sunday. The rain date for the show is July 19.
The British Invasion Tribute features vintage clothing and musical arrangements with music from more than just the Beatles. The show features songs by British Invasion Bands including The Zombies, Dave Clark Five, The Rolling Stones, The Hollies, Herman's Hermits, Gerry and the Pacemakers and Manfred Mann.
The American Response follows with music from The Monkees, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, The Mamas and The Papas, The Turtles and The Byrds.
The band includes Robert Murdock on bass guitar, lead and backing vocals; Lee Scott Howard on electric and acoustic guitars, lead and backing vocals; Jeff Alai on drums and percussion, lead and backing vocals; and Mick Seeley on keyboards and rhythm guitars, lead and backing vocals.
