An Evening of Laughter featuring The Capitol Steps

Jewish Family Service of MetroWest will hold its first annual Evening of Laughter on Wednesday, June 11 at 8:00 pm at the Levin Theater at JCC MetroWest, 760 Northfield Avenue in West Orange, New Jersey. The featured performers will be The Capitol Steps, a musical comedy group that satirizes American politics and current events. The performance will benefit Jewish Family Service of MetroWest’s mental health programs and services.

The Capitol Steps began over 30 years ago as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the people and places that employed them. Together, the performers have worked in a total of eighteen Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience. Their material is constantly updated, tackling both sides of the aisle in a non-partisan spoof of our government and its political antics.

Proceeds from the event will support essential mental health services to people with a  broadrange of mental and emotional challenges.
General tickets are $180 per person and include a dessert reception. An
opportunity to support JFS through a benefactor ticket at $360 per person
includes a private cocktail reception at 6:30 pm. Register online at www.jfsmetrowest.org, or by calling Anita Millman at 973-765-9050.
