Deerfield Strawberry Festival

Deerfield Elementary School will be the first to host their annual Strawberry Festival event on May 7th from 3 pm to 6:30 pm (May 8th as the rain date). There will be many games, rides and food for everyone at the festival.  Returning by popular demand are the trackless train, plenty of ball toss games, the cakewalk, and many more surprises! There will be interactive games, giant inflatable mazes, obstacle course, slides and moonwalks. This year, the new and exciting 5-in-1 Sport Activities and the “Velour Wall” will be introduced. In addition, Dunkin Donuts will have a stand serving iced coffee, iced tea and munchkins for purchase. Red Mango will have frozen yogurt and an Ice Cream Truck will return with other frozen treats ready to go. One of the local favorite restaurants, Tinga, will have their taco cart to serve some yummy and crunchy tacos.  La Strada will have pizza available, and this year we are adding Indian cuisine as well. You can purchase either a wristband for $50 which includes all the rides, games, one airbrushed tattoo, one snow cone, one cotton candy and one bag of popcorn; or you can buy booklets of tickets for $10 for 10 tickets at the festival. There are many awesome gift baskets for raffle -- just to name a few... Mini iPad, Kindle Fire, Chrome Book, New Xbox, Beats Headset, Play Station Vita, gift certificate, etc. We will also have brand new prizes for everyone to take home. Everyone is welcome - bring your friends and family and enjoy a fun afternoon together and raise money for the school.  Any questions please free feel to contact Simon Westfall-Kwong at SimonKwong@aol.com.  Additional Strawberry Festival’s are as follows:  Hartshorn on May 20th (rain date May 21st), Wyoming on May 28 ( rain date May 30th), South Mountain on June 3rd  (rain date June 4th) , and Glenwood on June 10th ( rain date June 11th).
