Enjoy an afternoon of music with the Homegrown String Band
The Homegrown String Band, “the family that plays together,” is a 100% natural organically grown band, homegrown by Georgianne and Rick Jackofsky and their daughters, Erica and Annalee. They have been performing around the country since 1997.
They take their inspiration from rural string bands of the early 20th century, playing guitar, banjo, fiddle, dulcimer mandolin, and harmonica to bring their own talent to classic American roots music. Visit their website, homegrownstringband.com to learn more about the family and their music.
So come to Livingston Public Library to enjoy a fun afternoon of music and learn a little about the history of traditional American music too! The program is free and open to everyone.
