Kids Rock for Vision Concert

“Kids Rock for Vision” Concert to Benefit New Eyes

Once again, School of Rock (SoR) Chatham proudly presents the annual “Kids Rock for Vision” fundraiser concert to benefit local non-profit, New Eyes for the Needy.

Summit High School student and Chatham School of Rocker Andrew McGann, has been organizing this year’s event, which is inspired and performed by over 20 talented teens from the area.  Andrew, who has been involved in the “Kids Rock” events since 2010, eagerly accepted the opportunity to chair this year’s event, stating that he’s “happy to be continuing such a fantastic experience”.

The event will be held at Roxy & Dukes in Dunellen, NJ, and will include performances and collaborations from SoR Chatham and SoR Tenafly Street Teams.  Andrew promises “a mix of great music across a range of classic rock genres”, such as Iron Maiden’s “Number of the Beast” and The Queen’s “Stone Cold Crazy”.  The event will be a lot of fun for families and all ages.

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at the door or from Andrew McGann directly, at amcgann96@icloud.com.  As usual, 100% of ticket proceeds will purchase new prescription eyeglasses for children in need in the U.S.  $56 purchases one child’s pair of glasses and donations are welcome!
