Lecture by Tom Doty, Millburn Township Forester, at Cora Hartshorn Arboretum

The Cora Hartshorn Arboretum presents a lecture by 
Thomas Doty, Millburn Township Forester

The guest speaker will be Tom Doty, Millburn Township Forester, who will present a fascinating slide show on the forest devastation caused by recent storms. He will also discuss the damage a lightning strike causes and ways to prevent or minimize this phenomenon. In addition Mr. Doty will give an overview of the stress that insects cause when they invade the woodlands. The presentation will be of particular interest to homeowners and land stewards living or working near preserved open space and forested areas. Educational material will be available.
