Millburn High
School SADD’s Act Out Loud Rally

Millburn
high school is hosting an Act Out loud rally on May 17 from 4-6pm in the new gym
and parking lot in the high school.  The
primary goal of the rally is to support of Global Youth Traffic Safety Month. The
contest will focus on educating our peers and communities on the three primary
causes of teen crash fatalities: speeding; lack of seatbelt usage and
distractions caused by teen passengers. There are lots of things to look
forward to including games, food, and events. The events include relay races
involving seat belts/ vision impairing goggles, a texting which tri-cycling
race, an impaired bean toss, a dunk tank, and more activities. We will have
insurance companies set up booths. There will be a rollover simulator and an
extrication demonstration, which the Millburn fire department will perform.
