Strawberry Fields in NJ / NJ350 Event

Did you know that Bergen County strawberries were once considered among the best in the country?  Just in time for strawberry season, come hear the history and folklore of this fascinating berry as told by food historian Judith Krall-Russo.  There is much to learn about this popular fruit -- a lot more than just pies and jams.

The one-hour program starts at 2 pm on Saturday, May 17.  Admission is free.
