Essex County Juvenile Detention Center Named 'Facility of the Year'
The juvenile detention center was recognized by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care.
Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. announces that the Essex County Juvenile Detention Facility was awarded as the Facility of the Year by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. The prestigious award is presented annually to only one facility of the 500 jails, prisons and juvenile confinement facilities that participate in NCCHC's nationwide accreditation
program.
