Patients who refuse to pay for services
I have a legal question. I am a dentist in town. A patient comes in for treatment. We review their insurance and go over their copayments. The patient leaves no money and then is sent 3 bills and an e-mail requesting money. Can I file a complaint with the Millburn police? Is there something called "Theft of services"? It is almost like shoplifting.
