Man Made Inappropriate Sexual Comments to Girls, Police Say

Millburn police are trying to identify man in composite sketch based on information provided by the two youths.

Millburn police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly made sexual comments to two underage girls Monday afternoon. 

According to Capt. Michael Palardy, two girls were walking over the Wyoming Avenue bridge between Millburn and Glen avenues at about 3 p.m. on Monday when the man approached them.

The two youths told police the man made inappropriate comments to them that were sexual in nature, Palardy said.

Police described the man as heavyset and white, approximately 5-foot-9 with balding gray hair wearing a blue and gray T-shirt and denim type cargo shorts.

The composite sketch above was created based on information provided by the two girls.

Anyone who can identify the male or who has additional information is asked to contact the Millburn  Police Detective Bureau at 973-564-7017.
