Multiple Home Burglaries Reported in Millburn-Short Hills

Millburn police are still investigating the three incidents.

Police have reported multiple burglaries over the past few days in Millburn and Short Hills, authorities said.

The most recent was reported on Monday where copper piping was stolen from a Parsonage Hill Road home sometime last week, Lt. Keith Laverty said.

A Hobart Avenue home was ransacked while the resident was away for a few days, robbing the home of an unknown amount of jewelry, according to reports.

The resident told police Sunday, they found the living room window open when they returned home after being away for a few days.

Additionally, a vacant home on Long Hill Drive was robbed of copper pipping also sometime over the last few months, Laverty said.

Millburn police are still investigating the three incidents.
