Thieves Strike Millburn Autos During Super Bowl

Purses, credit cards and more stolen Sunday night.

Three cars were broken into on Lakeview Avenue during Super Bowl XLVIII, according to a report in The Alternative Press.

Items stolen from the vehicles—a 2009 Dodge minivan, 2002 Nissan Maxima and 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee—include a pair of purses, credit cards, cash and a set of keys, TAP reported.

Cops told the news site that crooks appeared to have tried to steal the tires and rims from one of the vehicles Sunday night, as well.

Millburn cops are investigating, according to the report.

Multiple carjackings, violence, etc., all just in time for spring open house season. Yes, let's see if residents finally wake up when they realize their real estate values are dropping. Seriously questioning why we moved here -- should head back to NYC (although with de Blasio it will soon be the same as well).

Now that's funny. Where is Bloomberg when you need him, right? Though I will walk the high line and miss him, and his money. Dropping real estate values, coupled with the highest property taxes, losing the homestead exemption? NJ just one step away from not affordable anymore.

Your a stones throw from Newark, Irvington and alike....residents need act to make themselves and the family members safe. Obviously, the area has been targeted and there's no place to go....demand your 2A rights and CCL in NJ....the police cannot protect you.
