Splurge Bakery Hopes to Move Downtown

Another bakery may be coming to downtown Millburn.

Splurge Bakery has filed an application with the Planning Board to move into 105 Main Street, which is the former of the Stewart Leshe Collections. The bakery would take up the 2,600-square-foot space as a retail endeavor. There also would be space for theme parties.

The bakery specializes in personalized cookies. Owned by Short Hills resident Julie Winer, she creates sugar cookies with an image or message cast in icing. She had used restaurant.mc's kitchen for the work, but the restaurant recently closed.
