Parking Permit Fees to Increase in Millburn

The township committee unanimously voted Tuesday to raise annual fees by $100.

The Millburn Township Committee raised annual parking permit fee prices $100 at the township committee meeting Tuesday, according to a report on the Alternative Press.

The article states that the committee originally intended to raise prices $200 for annual permit fees, but after discussion with representatives of the business community the committee agreed to raise the fees by only $100.

The board unanimously passed the resolution concerning the fees put forward by township committee member Theodore Bourke at the meeting. The resolution stated the parking permit fees would be $510 annually for commuters and $330 annually for business people, according to the article.
