Community Works Together to Enhance Children’s Education

Breakfasts and snacks served to approximately 70 students.

From the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills:

Research shows that well fed children do better in school so when the Orange Public Schools reached out to the JLOSH and told them that food would not be available to students in grades 2-6 attending a math and science enrichment program during their days off in February, JLOSH and community businesses responded. In partnership with Above restaurant and Cait & Abby’s, both of South Orange, healthy breakfasts and snacks were served to some 70 students.
