Districts Host Legislative Education Forum

Five local school districts come together to discuss education issues and what's happening in Trenton.

The superintendents of the Livingston,, South-Orange/Maplewood, and West Orange school districts will host a regional legislative forum on such as teacher tenure and evaluation, charter schools and - legislation that could come up in the so-called "lame duck" session.

Elected officials from both the 21st and 27th legislative districts have been invited to share their perspectives on important pending legislation that may be voted on during the upcoming session.

After a brief summary of each of the topics by various district superintendents, the invited guests will share their perspectives of what's going on in Trenton and how it could affect districts and students. They will then form a panel for an interactive question-and-answer session with the audience.
