M-SPEC meeting and program

Our next MSPEC meeting and program is March 27th at 7pm at the Ed Center.  Our program is titled "Learning to Write and Writing to Learn:  Strategies and Technologies When Writing Difficulties Are Obstacles to Learning.  This program is for all parents whose students from preschool to high school may be experiencing handwriting difficulties.  We will discuss what is developmentally appropriate when younger children are learning to write and when parents should become concerned about handwriting difficulties. We will also focus on what strategies, accommodations, and assistive technologies may be available to students to use at school and at home when handwriting difficulties begin to impact learning and the ability to perform academically.
