Meet the Millburn Board of Education Candidates Tonight

The Short Hills Association hosts a forum where residents will be able to question the candidates on their views.

The Millburn Board of Education candidates will participate in a question and answer forum tonight, hosted by the Short Hills Association, at 7:30 in the Education Center. 

"The public will be able to get an understanding of the candidates' views," the Short Hills Association President Eleanor Wallen said. "The forums are quite informative."

The four candidates vying for the three board seats are Elliot Cahn, Dr. Eric Siegel, an incumbent, Dr. Rupali Wadhwa and Raymond Wong.

The night will be moderated by a member of the association, Arp Trivedi, who will start the off the forum with a 30-minute Q & A. 

Following the questions from the association, residents will get a chance to ask the candidates about their own issues for the next hour.

The board candidates will also be able to question each other throughout the night. 

The Short Hills Association has hosted this forum the past four years, Wallen said.

There will be a second forum next Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Education Center, hosted by M-SPEC. The board election will be on the ballot on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.
