Millburn High School Celebrates World Cultures

World languages department will hold 'An Evening of Culture' on Friday, March 21.

Millburn High School’s World Languages Department will be presenting An Evening of Culture in celebration of the world's cultures on Friday, March 21, at 7 p.m.

The study of other cultures through their own language stretches the minds of those who make the effort to learn about people and ways of life beyond their own, opening the world to them.

The New Jersey Standards for World Languages state “The exquisite connections between the culture that is lived and the language that is spoken can only be realized by those who possess a knowledge of both”.
