Township schools announced Wednesday evening that students could stay home Thursday, ahead of a monster snowstorm expected to slam the region overnight.
"Schools will be closed on Thursday, February 13, due to the forecast for heavy snow," read a message on the school website Wednesday evening. "Please stay safe and warm."
Township officials earlier Wednesday advised residents to remove cars from all roadways and stay off the roads as the nor'easter bears down on North Jersey.
