Millburn Superintendent Praises Students, Staff After Elite HS Ranking

Superintendent Crisfield: 'I am very proud of all our students and staff who work so hard to keep Millburn's commitment to excellence a reality.'

The Millburn School District superintendent praised student and staff alike on Wednesday following a U.S. News and World Report finding that Millburn High School ranked thirteenth among New Jersey's best schools

"We are very appreciative of the recognition from U.S. News and World Report," Superintendent James Crisfield said. "Being considered a top high school in New Jersey is no small feat, and I am very proud of all our students and staff who work so hard to keep Millburn's commitment to excellence a reality."

Millburn High School placed No. 4 among New Jersey open enrollment high schools in New Jersey, up from No. 5 in 2013.

The school is ranked No. 13 among all enrollment types of NJ schools—including selective magnet schools.

Among all schools nationally, Millburn High School ranks at No. 238, earning it once again the magazine’s Gold Medal status. The magazine compiles its rankings based on data from the 2011-12 school year.
