Region I Music Ensembles Accepts 25 MMS Students

Students were selected among the best in Northern New Jersey.

The New Jersey Music Educator’s Association has selected 25 Millburn Middle students to its 2012 festival music ensembles from auditions by music students from around the state.  The state is divided into three regional organizations, each organization conducting their own auditions and selecting “honors music ensembles” to present a concert. Millburn Township is in Region 1. Students accepted into the high school region program will be eligible to audition for the All State Ensembles in March. 

The auditions are very competitive, with music students from middle schools in North Jersey participating. This year the following 25 MMS students who were accepted into Junior Ensembles:

North Jersey Region I Intermediate Mixed Chorus
