Model UN Team Opens Season With Best Showing in Years

Millburn Model United Nations recaps their performance at J.P. Stevens

The Millburn High School Model United Nations team opened the 2012-13 season at the J.P. Stevens Model UN Conference, JPSMUN, with its best showing in years.

Although this was the first conference for many club members Millburn received three verbal commendations and one Honorable Mention.

Verbal Commendations went to:  Satyen Gupta, representing the UAE in SPECPOL, Zachary Vinik, representing Russia in ECOSOC, and Mark Wang, representing Kyrgzstan in SPECPOL.

Will van Nispen, MHS MUN President, was awarded the Honorable Mention for his participation in the U.S. Cabinet. 

The club meets every Monday immediately after school in Room 205.
