South Mountain School to Host Annual Auction on Saturday
The annual auction will be held in South Orange and will raise money for improvements for the school.
South Mountain Elementary School will host its 4th Annual Auction Night on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Orange Lawn and Tennis Club located at 305 N Ridgewood Rd. in South Orange to celebrate and raise money for improvements at the school.
Tickets are $65 per person, $70 at the door. The event is open to everyone in the community.
“From the amplification system in classrooms, to the incredibly popular Ga-ga court, all of this has been made possible with events like this,” Robin Handwerger, event chair, said in terms of the auction.
This year’s auction items include tickets to see One Direction in concert, VIP tickets to Live with Kelly and Michael and a ride to school on a Millburn fire truck!
Hors d'oeuvres, desserts and unlimited wine, beer, soda and juice will be available. Entertainment will be provided for the second year in a row by SMS parents Maryellen and Craig Just and their band, 'Enough Said.'
