South Mountain Student Earns Honorable Mention in Essex Poster Contest

Fourth-grader Jacqueline Zhou was among the more than 700 students who entered 'My Essex County Poster Contest.'

South Mountain School's Jacqueline Zhou has received an honorable mention in the Essex County Poster Contest for fourth-graders.

There were 707 students from 43 different county schools who entered the “My Essex County Poster Contest—4th Grade,” which was to depict the things that make Essex County unique. 

Jacqueline's poster will appear in the Essex County 2015 Municipal Guide.  Jacqueline and her fourth grade class at South Mountain School received a visit last Wednesday from Essex County Clerk Christopher Durkin. He presented Jacqueline with a medal engraved with her name, a T-shirt and a certificate honoring her work.
