Students Wow at South Mountain School Science Fair

Students presented experiments, research, collections of items, inventions or demonstrations.

South Mountain School in Millburn had its annual science fair on Wednesday, Feb. 26.

The students displayed their projects during the day then had an open house for family and friends that evening. The participants of the Science Fair were expected to present an experiment, research, a collection of items, and an invention or a demonstration.

Students had to explain their work and answer any questions during the fair to fellow participants, school staff and the official judges.

All students who participated received a certificate and a pin. The judges gave out awards for the best science fair exhibit in first, second and third place in each grade.
