Superintendent's Storm Update

Superintendent James Crisfield gives Millburn fifth storm update

Dear Millburn Families,

This is Update #5 in our ongoing attempt to keep everyone up to speed on how things are progressing and looking post-Sandy.

Actually, this update is going to be very short.  Workers are still out there as of Saturday at 5:00pm, and they will be on the job tomorrow as well.  Of course, it doesn't help that we lose an hour of daylight/utility repair time tomorrow.   So it goes.  One more hurdle...

The next update (set to come out towards the end of the afternoon tomorrow) will be much more comprehensive.  I am conferring with building principals about all sorts of things, from report cards to busing and everything in between.  Many details tomorrow.

For now, we still plan on having school next week.  All five days if we are lucky.  Granted, that is a bit optimistic, but we will give it a shot if possible.  I will have a much better sense of whether or not that can happen tomorrow.  Stay tuned.
