Millburn Millers Varsity Football Team at their home opener this Friday Sep 28  at the newly renovated Neigel Field located behind Millburn High School. The festivities begin at 5 p.m.

Maplewood Community Band

Friday, Sept. 28, at 7:30 p.m. DeHart Park, 120 Burnett Ave, Maplewood, NJ 

The Maplewood Community Band is recruiting interested musicians to play in our fun and relaxed ensemble. Rehearsals are the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. We perform three to four times during the year, including a summer concert in the Memorial Park Amphitheater.

Boxcar Bar & Grill: Jake's Ride Pep Rally

Friday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. Boxcar Bar & Grill, 25 Chatham Rd, Short Hills, NJ FREE

On Friday, Sept. 28, the Friday before Jake’s Ride, Boxcar Bar & Grill will be having a Pep Rally for Jake’s Ride featuring live music from Cats Ok Band!  Boxcar Bar & Grill will be donating a percentage of all receipts that evening to support the ride, so please come out, have some fun, and show your support.

Bone Marrow Drive for Mom In-Need

Shira Klein was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma on New Year’s Eve in 2010, just days before her youngest son, Lucas, turned one year old.  Livingston resident Michelle Tepper, a close friend of Shira will be holding a bone marrow drive at her home, 11 Boulderwood Drive in Livingston.  It will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

GenWealth Walks for Hope

The GenWealth Group will host its 1st Annual Charity Event: GenWealth Walks for Hope in support of breast cancer research, Saturday, Sept. 29, 8:30 a.m., 6 Inwood Place, Maplewood.
