Short Hills Collector Sues Eli Manning Over Supposed Sham Jerseys

Giants officials say the case against them is without merit and plan to fight the accusations.

A local memorabilia collector has accused the New York Giants of selling bogus "game-worn" gear, according to a report Thursday.

Eric Inselberg, a Short Hills collector, filed suit Wednesday against Giants QB Eli Manning and Giants boss John Mara, amongst others, claiming the team tussled new equipment to make it appear as if the stuff had been worn during actual play, according to ABC 22.

The Giants issued statements slamming the suit against them and they plan to fight it, according to the report.
