Star Guest Chef in Millburn Restaurant, 'Parkway Ride,' Special Senate Primary

Here's what is going on in Millburn-Short Hills this week.

On Monday, Peter's of Millburn will have Ryan DePersio as the guest chef for a five course tasting dinner menu.  The guest chef is the owner of Fascino and has appeared on the Today Show and the Food Network. More information here.

On Tuesday, New Jersey will host a Special Senate Primary Election, which has been vacant since Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) passed away on June 3. 

On the Democratic side, Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Frank Pallone Jr., Rush Holt and Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver will vie for the seat. 

Running for the Republican party Steven Lonegan and Alieta Eck are running against each other for the seat.

At the Millburn Public Library on Thursday night, AAII is hosting a presentation on the housing investment outlook for 2013. The speaker will be Steve Percoco, who is a security analyst who founded Lark Research in 1991 as an independent provider of investment research to institutional clients. His research coverage area includes real estate-related companies, homebuilders, REITs and mortgage finances.
