SO sad. This place could be a gem in the area, but the operators are probably paying thru the nose to lease the place and the small kitchen space limit the food selection and quality. That said, the location is ideal for a bar/family restaurant...perhaps as a second location for an established restaurant?

Boxcar Bar & Grill is inside the Short Hills train station. Known for its modern American cuisine, dishes include Shrimp Ceviche, Pan Roasted Chicken Breast, Veggie Grain Cake, Double Station Burger, Mac and Cheese with Side of Stewed Tomatoes, BBQ Chicken Pizza and Red Lentil Hummus.
I have eaten here many times. The food is outstanding, friendly service and a great atmosphere.
