This Middle Eastern restaurant is an excellent addition to the Millburn restaurant scene. The food is delicious and the owner could not be more friendly. He greeted us warmly, and gave us a sample of dishes when we arrived. We tried a number of items, including the felafel, hummus, kebabs, stuffed grape leaves, baba ganoush, and others. The food is homemade and terrific. We will definitely be back!

I learned to love eastern Med food after living in Athens for several yrs. The best tavern food is homemade, with fresh ingredients and uniquely delicious; and you know it when you taste it. (BTW, they make THE BEST falafels - better than any in NYC!) This small deli-style shop has got that magic combo.
Hany, the proprietor, makes you feel like an old and close friend. Many of his East Med meals are based on old family recipes. Let a scoop of hummus, baba ghanush or tahini settle a minute and the olive oil rises up, as homemade dips should.
