The Department of Public Works' (DPW) Essex Street facility is home to the plows, trucks and people, who maintain the town's roads, parks and other public properties.
The town's Recycling Center is on site with its entrance on Main Street just north of Essex Street. The town has single stream recycling, but residents can bring their recyclables to the center.
