The Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad was founded in 1958 and is a non-profit organization that provides emergency medical services to Millburn. The squad is staffed completely by volunteers and funded through private donations. Their services are also free of charge. All members must complete a 110-hour EMT course, which includes training in CPR and automatic cardiac defibrillators.
