Wyoming Elementary School is one of Millburn's five elementary schools. It's settled into a quiet residential neighborhood in the Wyoming section of Millburn. The school was originally constructed in 1927 and was renovated in 1997 and 2004. According to Wikipedia, the name Wyoming is from the Munsee Indian word for "at the big river flat." The Munsee language was originally spoken by tribes living in the greater New York City area, including northern New Jersey.
