When one actor wishes another good luck, he or she often says, sarcastically, "Break a leg" – literally the…More worst thing that could happen to a performing artist. But if the worst happens, Theatre Arts Physiotherapy is there to help. The physical therapy clinic, founded by Sigrid Scruggs, specializes in rehabilitating performing artists.
In a recent article in the Chatham Courier, she said her patients include members of the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, performers from Broadway shows and students from local dance troupes. She told the Courier, "My goal is to return patients to their peak physical level and to prevent further injury from occurring."
