Millburn High School is a national Blue Ribbon School, and New Jersey Monthly rated it New Jersey's top high school in 2008. Millburn Middle School has been named a Benchmark School of Excellence for five straight years.
The Education Center houses the district's administration offices, including the school's superintendent. It's also where the Board of Education holds its meetings twice a month.
The offices are located on the same property as Millburn High School, and there is a strict parking enforcement. Anyone visiting the Education Center needs to get a visitor's parking pass otherwise they run the risk of receiving a parking ticket.

In addition to strong academics, students are afforded opportunities to explore music, art and other interests. An addition is being made to the school facility to handle an increase in enrollment.
The American Red Cross Millburn-Short Hills Chapter holds monthly blood drives, participates in the town's Meals on…More Wheels program, offers courses in CPR and first aid and operates the town's emergency shelter if it's needed. There is also a food pantry at the chapter's building and they collect clothing.
In the event of a fire, the chapter will assist homeowners if they need a place to stay or clothing to wear. Additionally, the chapter works with the town's emergency management team. The chapter holds an annual CPR and AED training at Millburn High School. The event is free and over 200 people normally attend. The event is sponsored by the Danielle Brender Fund. Each year the chapter holds a 5K race in December and a wine tasting in March to raise funds.

The school has a strict parking program. You must have a parking permit in order to park at the school. Those visiting should report to the office to receive a temporary parking pass. An addition to the school – including an expanded cafeteria and new classrooms – is slated to be completed for the 2009-10 school year.
