From erotica to thrillers, here is a quick list of this summer's most popular books at the Millburn Library, according to the staff.
Millburn residents haven’t stopped reading just because it’s summer. The library has been busy with patrons coming in for books, CDs, DVDs and library programs. While the weather is hot outside, readers can cool off inside. But some books are so hot, that the library staff says they can’t keep them on the shelves, according to reference librarian Barry Devlin. Devlin said the wait time varies from book to book, though the staff bought more copies of 50 Shades of Grey and The Litigators to better meet the demand of requests by patrons. Still, there are up to 20 patrons still waiting for some of these titles. “I usually wait till there is not as long a list and take my time [with a book],” said Devlin. “There are so many other great books …
