A Millburn teen will face adult criminal charges for the death of a South Orange man from a January car crash on Parsonage Hill Road, according to a News-Record report. A superior court judge ruled Richard M. Chesler, who was 17 at the time of the crash, was to be charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter, according to the report. He faces 10-30 years in prison if convicted. The News Record reports authorities will next seek an indictment. Ari Vuotila, 39, of South Orange, was killed in the two-car crash at the intersection of Parsonage Hill Road and Long Hill Drive on Jan. 27.
