Millers Fall to Caldwell in Varsity Lacrosse
Boys play hearty but fall 5-3 to Caldwell on Monday.
Under chilly skies on the Millburn High School field, the Millers squared off against the Caldwell Chiefs in boys Lacrosse on Monday. The varsity boys fell to Caldwell with a score of 5-3, but the Millers junior varsity squad came back to beat Caldwell with a score of 5-3. Caldwell varsity players who scored were Timothy DeVincenzo, Sean Dyer, Billy Pierce and Ryan Slane. In the varsity game, Caldwell boys scored one goal each in the first, third and fourth quarters and two goals in the second quarter. The Millers played tough and scored goals in the second and fourth quarters. Players Ben Cebula, Maxwell Nemerow and Nathan Weinrauch all scored for Millburn. Love field hockey too. Unfortunately m I have some bad news, that's a fall sport. Love to read about ALL MHS sports. Just wondering why baseball (one of the school's best team sports) is being left out. Nothing more to it.   more ›
